Device Advancements
Since we have been striving for greatness in the world of technology and innovation we have made huge leaps and bounds to make them better and faster. Now over the past few years were getting down to the smaller nit picky things and it's getting harder and harder to make huge advancements.
For example, if you look at the iphone in the past few years you may not be able to differentiate them at first glance. Maybe not even after inspecting it. They look pretty much exactly the same and there isn't much different in terms of specs on the inside either. This is because there isn't that much to improve on at this point.
Apple has recently made a news article about types of displays. They were talking about switching to mini led displays instead of OLED displays. Mini LED Displays are more efficient because they are made of many little lights so each can be turned off completely at a point to save power.
I think this is a great idea except I don't think this is What we should be focusing on in terms of technology in phones. The physical tech inside phone at the point where there is not much we can do anymore yet were still mainly focusing on it when it takes forever for me to look up something simple on google without wifi.
The phone connection is never reliable and is sow as slow can be and half the time doesn’t even work at all. I think we should be focusing a lot more mobile connection. This is exactly what towns in New Hampshire are doing.

The town of Keene New Hampshire Is bringing prep for 5g connections which in my opinion should have came to all places a long time ago. This good tho that were starting to move in the right direction. Pretty soon many town then everytown will be getting it.
When reading more about it it's actually really interesting they cut it down from a huge cell tower to a little box not much bigger than your cell phone itself. One thing they are getting ready for tho is the positioning of the device. They need to think of the perfect place to put it because of one downfall is that it is a lot easier to interrupt the connection. So they have to put it in a place where they can be no interruptions throughout the whole town of keene.
Overall I think this is great for the future of the thing we rely on so much our phones. I were gonna use them so much we should not be focusing on the screen but rather how fast it can load things and the ease of use.

You start by talking about something you think is a great idea, but what is it that you think is a great idea? How widespread globally is 5G? Are there any concerns about 5G?
ReplyDeleteI think the new mini LED displays would be a great idea, no 5g is not widespread globally, and as i said in my blog it is a lot more easily interrupted

ReplyDeleteIt's good that you are expressing your opinion so strongly. The way you structured the post is a bit of a problem, especially when starting with an "I think" statement. Other than that, the post looks good.
I completely agree about the ideas that you've mentioned in this blog. To this day, cell phone service is painfully slow and a lot of the time we rely on phones to complete things fast. Most of the time cell phone service isn't even available in specific areas. If we were to build a 5G cell tower locally where would put it? Do you think the town of Hopkinton could construct one in the near future? Also if we were to build one, would they be affordable and how much would they cost to build?
ReplyDeleteit will be faster
